UnSensored - Vagina Monologues
See Hear Touch Taste Smell

What a fun and magical evening. Women power! It took some adjustments to listen to all the "girls private part" words, but it made us smile, laugh and feel proud to be women. The evening opened with a sweet grass ceremony, then all the activities were in full swing.

My interactive art display was SIGHT. The concept behind my display was to create art without being able to use your vision. To use your minds eye and imagination to create a painting.

Each person would reach through the curtain and I would hand them a brush filled with paint. I would describe an image and they would draw it on a small board without seeing what they were doing. The results were abstract and incredibly beautiful.

The evening continued with monologue readings, musical entertainment, impersonators, interpretive dance as well as belly dancing. It was glamorous. We had a few giggles being stationed next to the Fantasia table. It was a great night in support of the Coverdale Centre for Women.
